The combination of Chrysocolla, malachite, & quartz is a new find out of peru. This new combination has been recently discovered to also contain trace amounts of gold!

Crystals generally grow in silica-rich, hot watery solutions called hydrothermal environments, at temperatures between 100°C and 450°C, and usually under very high pressure.

Chrysocolla is a basic copper silicate that typically forms as a pseudomorph following other copper based minerals.

Malachite is an intense green, copper based mineral that can be found in a wide variety of forms.
